I actually reckon I would be risking my life more getting rid of the Mav then the XR8.
The missus would murder me.
Your missus would LOVE to have the Mav out the front of your place all the time!

Yeah.
So i think that is the final brush stroke of the car.
Not much more to do. not on my budget anyway.
It looks like it came out of 1985.
What do you think would happen if i got to 88mph with 1.21 gigawatts!!!

Well guys, some of you may of heard of my little problem.
The carby went up in flames the other week, taking wiring, hoses & paint with it.
The repair is working out ok, however I cant stess enough that when setting up fuel systems...
MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE A FIRE EXTINGUSHER OR FIRE BLANKET ON STAND BY!!!
Dont fall into the trap of (that will never happen to me ). I used to think like that.
It was one of the scarriest things i have seen. For a couple of very painfull momants I thought the whole thing was going up in smoke.
So guys make sure you dont fall victim. I got out lucky, a bit of a burnt bonnet & a new hair style.

Cheers guys
