Hi guys, who has tried out the supercheap auto exhaust tips the have? Got 20% off now and was VERY tempted to get 2 for my car, but deep down i couldn't being myself to buy them because i know they wouldn't last very long.

They only sell one brand by the looks of things, not sure what it is though.

Not after people to tell me 'you get what you pay for', just want first hand experiences.

I've got one of their twin 3" rolled tips on my EF, brand is Calibre or whatever from memory. Only bought one because it was on special lol, couldn't bring myself to pay over $100 for something similar from a proper exhaust place even though it would have been way better quality.

IMO, they aren't too bad for the price, the welds around where the tips merge out from the collector aren't the best looking but they still hold up fine. The twin tips look pretty decent, fits the cutout on the EF/EL bumpers pretty well (without the tickford kit in my case)..

Oh that looks great. Not sure if it will fit my bar (tickford)

How has it stood up since however long ago when you bought it? Did it go black?

I assume you got the factory tips cut out and this welded in?

The tips have been fine ever since they were installed back towards the start of the year in March I think. Since they are rolled tips they do tend to build up with carbon on the lower edge of the tips (same thing happened with my rolled oval tip), easy enough to clean off when washing the car with a bit of soapy water and a brush etc. I usually just use a bit of Autosol on the tips every 2 months or so to maintain the polished stainless finish.

I had a 2.5" system on it which previously had a big oval tip welded on, I just ground the welds off around where the tip joined the tail pipe section, took the car down to the local exhaust place and got them to weld the twin tip on.

If you don't autosol them the stainless turns to a bronze colour and you can't get rid of it. Apart from that there not that bad

I bought my 3.5" dump from superthief, 12 months old and still looks like the day I bought it, other then the black inside of course.
