My neighbours going to get rid of his 3.9ltr EA 5 speed manual station wagon, and said I can have the gearbox as a spare for my ute.Just wondering if it would be the same as mine?My XG has the EBII engine and 5 speed manual g/box.

Cheers,
Kev.

Different synchros and bearings.

Also not the actual box itself but if you buy a conversion it is a 3 bolt clutch/flywheel on earlier boxes and 6 bolt on eb2 onwards (obviously can be changed quite easily).

Edit: but yes, will bolt in.
