Is it ok to use your cruise control when towing a caravan.

I know in the EF owners manual Ford advise against using cruise control while towing, but things may have changed in 10 years. Take a look at your manual, or contact your ford dealer for advice.

I fail to see any drama with it, I dont care what Ford say, but I reckon it'd be OK.

I always use my cruise control even when towing. You just have to be aware of what the transmission is doing. If your going up hill and the tranny is shifting up and down gears all the time then it is best to select power mode and not use cruise, but on flat ground I always use cruise

I always use cruise control regardless. Didn't have any issues with it when I was towing around 400kg...I mean that's nothing compared to a caravan but I don't see an issue. However I also have a manual transmission which is different all together.
