Can anyone help.
Trying to convert my BA FPV fibreglass rear bar to accept the reverse sensors.. Anyone have measurments of where bouts the bumper reverse sensor holes are to be drilled? And if the holes could be drilled lower to move the sensors from the middle height on the rear bar... Or would that foul with the sensor readings? |

What rear bar have you got mate?, when i got my GT kit my panel beater measured up my reverse sensors and cut them into the GT bar exactly like my stock bar was - did a fukn top job and they work perfectly (even though they are actually sitting lower to the ground than the standard bar did. He even had to fiddle with one because ford had glued it all together when it fell out under warranty. He is pretty busy till the new year but he is at Arcadia Smash Repair - 02 9653 1545 would highly recommend getting him to do it for you.
Cheers Phil

On the rear bar of my XT we divided the width of the bar into 3 and put the sensors equally apart.
They are mounted on the best vertical part of the bar, which on the XT wagon bar is just below the groove. One thing you may need to do is cut some of the ribs out from the honeycomb bar inside to make way for the sensors. (not sure if this is legal, but that's what we did)
