Hey guys, gettin a dual 2.5" cat back for my ba v8 mont and was wondering what effect it would have on the torque. I was told that the power would go up but torque would go down? Is this bs or what?

I wouldn't be too concerned about it.
I've just put a XForce twin 2.5" Cat back on our BA Ghia V8 and its all win from my point of view.

i honestly cant see an exhaust making such a difference that it would even be an issue
besides the nicer sound would be worth it lol

the 3V has loads of torque, deffinately responds well to the exhaust.

You will actually gain torque everywhere because the stock exhaust is just a 6cyl thing. A reflash goes a long way to take advantage of the exhaust too.

What kind of sound would you get from this exhuast?
I'm looking for the deep pure V8 sound on hard acceleration, and a normal unnoticeable rumble on idle or low rpm.. (if thats the best way to explain it?) |

Get a 2nd hand exhaust off a GT.
