Just wondering if it's possible to remove the sump to check & test my oil pump(EBII motor)in my XG ute. Will do a pressure test first before I remove the sump.Still get the odd HLA clatter now and then, cold or hot.Been running Castrol RX Super 15w40 for the last 14 years,as I had the s**t with Harrigan Fords service, and cotinued to have services done for warranty at a mates 4WD w/shop,and that's the oil he used then.Have read the thread/s on various oils, and it's a bit of hard choice as to what to grade to use.
Any thought or ideas welcomed before I have to pull the sump. :?:
