My xh cruise control is not working at all , just wondering what can go wrong to cause it not to work

could be heaps of things
faulty brake/clutch switch ( if manual )
vac line dc
the switches not makign contact

any more info, does it activate, work for a little while, light come on, blow's fuses?

Check your tail\brake light fuse. When my cruise stopped working for a week, that's all it was. I didn't even realise the two were linked until I was told....

Light does not come on at all , but the brake lights work. Horn is not work either which could mean something around the steering wheel.

yep, most probably your switch's are not connecting - check your plugs on the steering wheel column
