just wondering if anybody has or knows the wiring for the alternator off a 6 cycl eb 4L. The alternator has a 2 pin plug at the top rear and a single bolt on the rear (which i assume is the b+ terminal)

IIRC yes, the XG wiring loom I have has it and they're essentially an EB.

The single bolt is the main charge wire to the battery, yes, and the two terminals in the plug are for voltage sense wire and warning light wire.

The sense wire needs to be hooked up to B+ (EF falcon has it joined to the charge wire a few inches along the loom) and the warning light terminasl is obviously run up to the charge light on the dash (I think from memory 5W globe maximum)

I cant remember offhand, but I think they have letters next to the terminals cast into the houisng, maybe S for sense and L for light.
