My front passanger power window has stopped working, ive gotten out and pulled the switch apart, sprayed the contacts with some crc like my mate told me to do(which is how he fixed his) and it decided to work for about 3 minutes then stop working again.
I went out today and had another fiddle with it and when i was putting it back together i noticed one of the solders had a crack right around it in a perfect circle right undernieth the switch that had stopped working, im wondering could this be the problem? |

If you looking at a bad solder joint on the switch then there's a good chance you've found your problem. To prove it, bypass the switch with a small jumper wire and see if the window works. If it does then either repair or replace the switch.

if your talking about the join or sometimes refereed to as feet of the switch onto the board has had its solder crack then most likely the fault to repair it is amazingly simple just apply ur solder to the joint in question wait till the solder is in a liquid form give it 1-3(depends on solder joint size) seconds once the solder has gone liquid then just remove the solder iron and allow it to cool and set
make sure its unplugged before doing this naturally lol
