Any users done this change? Does keeping the original spec MC compromise pedal feel or travel?

I am about to change Calipers and discs on my AU1 XR and have been told that the pedal may not be as good but, have read before that the change on AUII/III goes much better and I believe the pedal travel loss is minimum. Hope that helps.

Thanks guys, I am running an AUII XR6 Ute and the std front calipers & discs are smaller than BA. I plan on using braided steel hose on the front for starters.

I have fitted Ba front Calipers and slotted rotors to a AUll ute no problems u only need to be softer on the pedal they have known to lock up. I have a set that has done low k's if interested gassa

I went from stock AUIII to BF Mk2 XR8 (322mm) and under normal brakes it has almost the same pedal feel, perhaps a bit firmer. But the further you push it down you really noticed how much more bight they have

Thanks for the responses, I haven't got around to the swap yet, busy pre xmas with work.

hey adam what callipers did you use? the BA ones or The terry ones? im doing another conversion on my ute. did Au3- BA XR8 on my XR6 now doing AU3- Terry fronts on my XR8 ute but not sure what the difference is on the ba callipers to terry ones? been told the callipers wont fit but use the 322mm discs and ba calipers but their the same brake pad code?

Territory calipers have different mounts to BA/BF, the disc on the BF Hi Series/Territory is the same, 322mm Dia but Calipers are different. |
