just go to a wrecker and get the rocker gear off another EF. pop the HLA's out of the rocker gear and use the shims

yeh. factory they have 1 shim in each rocker arm. when you put in a REGRIND cam you need to put another shim in. so there is 2 in each rocker arm. make sure they all get put back in the way they originally come out too

oh and $80 seems like a rip off... I'd ring a wrecker and see what they want or better still if you have one of those pick-a-part ones go fetch em yourself and save even more...

Cheers,
Tim

allright im pretty certain its 11mm for an EF i believe ED is too but before that is 14mm, my EB has 14mm and a friend of mine has an ED and that had 11mm shims, as far as i know ford dont even make the 14mm ones anymore, id recommend going to a wrecker though, i scored a set for $2 :P
