Hey guys just wondering what internal work I can do on my 4L. Such as best pistons, rings, bearings, con rods etc this motor will not have forced induction I just want a decent strong N/A 4L cheers guys

throw an ACl kit through it, flat tops butterfly cut for piston to valve clearance, rods... you can reuse the stock items or look at Spools or argos or similar, ACL kit will come with bearing, rings, gaskets, and a nason timing chain.
while your there, throw a new oil pump in, JP make a nice item. for the most part you can easily get away with a rebuild kit and pistons, its your choice if you want to go flat lumpy or dish, just depends what you want to do with compression, oversizing bores will depend on scoring, if any, and also what your suppliers actually have in stock as far as pistons go. this is usually a deciding factor.

Out of curiousity with ACL in receivership, who apart from ACL makes a whole rebuild kit for the i6?
