ok guys quick question,

have some 6.5" speakers on the way, which are too deep to fit behind grill/doorcard so will be hacking at my cards. thought might be better to pick up some different cards for this as if and when i sell the car ill put the stock ones back.

will any other falcon cards fit an au without work or best off looking just for au ones?

Thanks

just get the right speakers to fit in the 1st place

or make up a space to fit between the speaker and mount

iirc au run a 5X 7 oval shaped speaker and a round 6.5 wont fit with an apdator

If they are two way speakers you could always take off the tweeter at the top and re-mount it somewhere else. That will give you more clearance. Otherwise a 16mm MDF ring between the speaker and the door frame and a little fun with a saber saw will see your job through :).
