rear doors dont lock when i lock my ba it beeps as tho its all locked but just lift handle n unlocks whole car any ideas?

id also like to know as my dads BA is the same, when you lock the car, if you lift the rear right handle it unlocks

it will be the central locking actuators.. apparently the lke to crap emselves often on these new falcons. mine have only done the passenger front door but done it twice in a month. now all good.

Excuse the crappy picture my phone takes but it was the easiest thing in front of me...

This gear is out of the lock and its a good replacement one...

What happens is the gear snaps off the shaft and the motor turns the gear but it doesn't turn the shaft and hence the slide...

This is inside the actuator itself...

So your options are replace with a new one from Ford as long as your willing to pay an arm and a leg... Or hunt round for the gear on ebay like I did... :D

Or for those of us who own smartlock vehicles with the old actuators... They never had issues... Not like these AUII to BF ones anyway...
