hi

got a aerpro ap4 antenna instead of a aerpro ap2 antenna a while back to replace the semi auto antenna in a ed as the fully auto one was all that was avaliable and was wondering how to convert it to a semi auto antenna to work on the original central controller

3 wires from the motor on the fully auto antenna which is white, brown, and yellow to a small relay on the antenna then a green and red wire comming from the relay on the antenna which red would go to constant power then green would goto the head unit when used as a fully auto antenna but want touse it as a semi auto antenna so it will work through the central contoller

Hey saw noone got back to you. I just looked at this today (found a fully auto antenna for $30 when I cant buy the mast for that much)

Easiest/Fastest.

1 Cut the two wires going to the motor (as far from the motor as possible).
2 Connect these two wires up as per the two wires on your original motor. you now have a semi-auto antenna. Just ignore the other wires going to the body, and to the relay
