hi, my father owns a ba xr6 turbo fitted with premium sound and the other day his battery died so he replaced it with a new one and when we turned the car on the screen says "media" and no sound or buttons work for the radio,cdplayer. He has a mobile handsfree kitt fitted to the sound system which worked before the battery was replaced but now there is nothing only the climate control works? i took it to ford to see what they would say and not even they could work it out. Does the center control system have a reset button or something?

You probably need to go to fraud for the "hand over".Normally to change batteries,you use jumper leadsto another battery or battery pack, while you make the change,to keep all the electrics alive.
