just wanted to know if anyone out there has had this same issue and if they can help...

i bought a generic flash tune from capa, and tuned my car, all was good, then i started mucking around with the optional parameters ie, global spark, air/ fuel ratio, spark from 0 - 2000, spark from 2000 - 4000, spark from 4000 - 6000 and shift percentages...

I had global spark set to -1 as guy from capa instructed me to adjust, and had all the sparks maxed out... one morning coming outta my drive way my car started clonking out then stalled, with the engine light on, i restarted the car and all was fine, ever since then my car feels like it has lost power, i mucked around with the settings on the tuner a bit before that, ie running it richer and leaner and testing different things, maybe has flooded my injectors or clogged my cat or fried my plugs or leads???

anyone with any info would be a big help...thanks

only play with it if u know what you are doing as u can do some serious damage to your car!

the only thing i could think of is flash it back to the generic tune or factory and get the car dyno tuned by a pro!

I returned the car to stock, then re-tuned it with the generic tune and left it. my local shop i go to dynoed my car and was producing 15 rwkw less then my 1st run on the same dyno 6 months ago, the bloke there said he wasnt sure how severe damage could be from mucking around with those settings, but he said more than likely flooded the injectors and ill prob have to replace them, but was just checking to see if anyone had this same issue and how they resolved it, but thanks disco for ur help.
