Hey all.
I have a 96 ef 6cyl fairmont.
Years ago i got a chip installed in my ECU.
Its a Powerchip Gold 98. It was installed by KPM Motorsport here in Adelaide.
The only modifications that i had done to the car back when i got the chip installed was:
-K&N panel filter
- exhaust with extractors, (Standard cat) 2.5 inch piping, 1 huge muffler and tips.
and thats it.

The modifications i have now that are different are:
-Exhaust with Extractors, Hi-Flow Cat, 2.5 inch piping, a small straight through muffler and tips
- A Monster Flow Pod Filter, with standard intake.
-I cracked me head, so when it was re-done it was shaved down thinner than normal so the compression is higher.
-i am getting a new auto gearbox with a stage 2 chift kit installed in it
and thats it.
Should i be getting the car re-tuned cause i have changed certain things on the car???

cheers
TURBOFAIRMONT

I'd leave it until you do more work to it such as, cam or head work. Can always get rid of the powerchip and get a J3 chip instead...easier tuning if you plan on doing more mods to the engine internals.
