Hi guys, I've been given a heavy duty towbar for an XF and I'm wondering if anyone knows what the interchangeability is like with earlier models (I've got an XB coupe..) I don't mind modifying it if necessary but I wanted to hear your ideas before I go removing the rear valance on my car (which will obviously need modifying if the towbar will fit.) I suppose the basic measurement first off is the distance between the frame rails on an XF, and how that compares with an XB? Any ideas?
