as the title says i have a 1998 nl fairlane, i have scored a set of dl ltd electric seats, i know they will bolt in but what i want to know before i go ripping them out is that is the wiring for the ltd electrics in the fairlane loom or do i have to run my own wiring to get the seats to work???

Being a 98 NL you have, I would have thought your drivers seat would already be partially electric. Drivers electric seat was standard from Oct 97 on.

If so, it will bolt in and work, the plug is the same.

Passenger side will have nothing... Unless Ford decided to hide the plug under the carpet. If not then just need to get a plug.

I vaguely remember they are the same as the dash central locking button plug and the power circuit is the same as the window power. So just need to tap into the plug in the centre console.

ok cheers mate, i took the seats and console out and no plugs, so i'll jump into the power window loom, sounds good, cheers.

does any one have a wiring diagram for the dl ltd that shows the loom for the electric seats?? i need to wire them into my fairlane.
