What do you want to know about it?
Have you got it set in your mind thats what you want or are you after some opinions on different options as well? I'll give you my opinion. I've got a wade 1673 regrind with a J3 chip. I can tell you that the 1673 is a mild grind but still performs quite well. Is probably close to the stage 3 in equivalence. The 1673 kicks into power at around 2500-2800 rpm with a fair hunk of torque. Once it hits about 3200-3500 it opens up and tears away. I reckon with a bit of a head cleanup and some other head work with this cam or the cms stage 3 cam will see some quite nice numbers. Definately a seat sucker of a cam. What are you looking at using the car for? Street? Track? How much do you want to spend on getting the cam to perform? Does the cms stage 3 require heavier valve springs? Hope this helps out a bit Cheers Sam

I had this cam in my el, goes very well, power through the whole rev range. You'll need head work to make the most out of it. But it has a nice lumpy idle and sounds very tuff, biggest cam available that runs well on the STD ecu, I pulled 169 rwkw with mild head work and full exhaust. Ran 14.2 quarter mile at 96 mph

I'll 2nd Fast-XR, the CMS 3 is a well engineered cam, sounds great at idle(lumpy), pulls hard from 2800rpm (with my engine tune). I managed so far 165rwkw@5200rpm (still climbing), and ran a 14.404/97.86mph quater mile with lots of wheel spin through 1st/most of 2nd.
yes you will need heavier springs im running crane cams p/n:99839-16 |

i made 149rwkw with cms stg 2 and a little head work with my ef and thats on std ecu no tune! and idle's great. Power comes in at 2300-limiter power comes in hard at 3500rpm, so some times bigger is not always better..
