Just got me a new EF farimont - Pretty sweet. Interested in p1ssing off the standard suspension (wallow!) and spending about 600-800 smackers on a new suspension setup.
Dont want to go too sporty (eg. Rock Hard) - just something intermediate thatll handle tighter. Any suggestions what i should be going for?

King lows, and KYB shocks should get in around $800 easy

I agree with XRated. King springs and KYBs.
If you want the fairmont to sit at XR6/8 height then go with the King low springs. If you want it to be lower then go for the superlows. If you look in my gallery you'll see how a Fairmont on superlows sits. Darin.

im guna disagree, dont get king springs, they arent a good ride
i have the xr springs and monroe gt gas on my mont, made a big difference and its still a comfy ride! thats if you are runnin the stock alloys, i have the FTR's fitted to mine and they make it a little stiffer but once again huge improvement in handling, especailly the elimination of bodyroll but its up to u! btw, i picked up my springs 2nd hand for $70!

Thanks All....I like Pulcos advice with the Monroes and the XR springs. Sounds like an economical alternative....The other suggestions are sweet, but might be a bit too firm for this C**k!.
Ive got tickford mags on it, so the XR/Monroe set up should be sweet. Not to hard- not too soft - but juuuuust right. Peace out.

I used to have this same setup on my EB. Very nice and reassuring ride at high speed. The sensatracks used to be prone to early failure, has this changed? I can also highly recommend the Whiteline front swaybar setup.

Kings make a "Low"in the comfort option,
Listed in the kings catalogue as "recommened for vehicles with 17"or larger tyres", if you are concerned about comfort I would sugest these, Front # KFFL-26C Rear # KFRL-27C
