Hi All

My 06 BF Falcon just ticked over 100,000km the other day and upon reading a few threads around the transmission it got me thinking. I have reluctantly neglected the gearbox which is the 4sp auto and thought its probably about time i got it serviced. The box is working perfectly fine as it did from day 1 but i am all about the preventative, plus i will be getting a custom tune in a month or 2 (part of this I will be getting the shifts firmed up) so want to get everything up to scratch before this (getting 105k service done before as well).

I was simply wondering if there is a renown transmission service specialist that people use or can recommend one as I only want the best and don’t have any connections in this area. Preferably in the North Western part of Sydney but I am willing to travel a bit if they are worth it.

Also what kind of service should I be asking for seeming as though it has never been touched since it left the factory? I read that Ford say they are a sealed unit – does this limit what I can get done?

Give Joe at CMS a yell, he has serviced both of mine, full flush etc, new filter and very happy with his work.
