Hey, Does anyone know the torque settings for the fitting of rear shocks to a Ef XR6 Falcon? Also any hints for putting them in? Because I heard the rear shocks tend to become loose often.

Thanks.

According to my workshop manual,

Shock absorber-to-axle bracket nut 74 to 103
Shock absorber upper mounting bracket-to-body nuts 30 to 40
shock absorber piston rod nut 18 to 30

All in Nm

Zactly, just do em as tight as you can - don't see it being any problem as ive done that to both my cars in the past with no probs.
