I read somewhere that the EF-BA falcons have included phone wiring. Mine has an antenna on the rear window, but where would I find the connections for the dash? thanks

its in the drivers footwell. i cant remember if its above clutch pedal or accelerator n your car. just a plug neatly tucked away that has 4 terminals: 12V Constant, 12V ignition, ground, radio mute.

theres actually a picture in the owners manual these days - dont know about yours though.

yeah thats onlu for the ba\bf there is also a 2 pin plug next to it for the sound to go through the car speekers. but the au the phone plug is near your left knee ish kinga up and left under the dash. but as far as i know the best place to get wiring for ef\el is the head unit wires as they dont have a phone plug as far as i know hope it helps.

oh, and, IMPORTANT!
I think it was the EL. when I installed the kit, the radio was on constant mute.
this was because the EL ford system mutes when there's a +ve signal on the mute wire, whereas the carkit sends a -ve signal to mute the radio.

Had to put a relay in to change the signal from -ve to +ve.

In the EL the plug is around the front of the centre console (RHS), near the bottom of the BEM.
Yellow(+12v), Black (Earth), Accessories(Violet/red), Mute (Green).

LILMIS, on the AU2 i think there were actually 2 plugs...
1 for the power, and 1 for the stereo.
can't remember, i've changed headunit so am only using the power plug.

Hey, how did you go? What kind of phone kit did you plug into the factory connector?
