does anyone think the ba xr8 cats would be a worthy replacement for my el 5ltr cats? anyone know the diameter of them? wat are guys running, twin 2.5'' from extractors or single 3''?

The BA ones look like they flow really well, they are at least 2 1/2". Aftermarket are good also but they cost a lot and probably don't flow all that much more than the BA ones, and most 5L engines even with a few mods don't need huge flow, just somethig better than the E-series ones.

ive got duel pipes, standard el 5l cats and 1 muffler dropped at the diff. sounds and goes heaps beta

Genuine Ford prices for a cat converter are ridiculous! Aftermarket 2" to 3" hi flow cat converters are less than $200 now! Unless your talking second hand BA ones, but then it's second hand, used, and cat converters don't have such a long life. |
