EF falcon won't start, it winds over fine, has spark but no fuel, the main power relay is energising the fuel pump relay and it initially contacts and the fuel pump starts and supplies a dribble of fuel to the injection manifold, but the fuel pump relay cuts out after about 1/4 sec, You can nold the FP relay closed and the FP supplies fuel constantly but the car still won't start. The FP relay is earthed thru the EEC so at this stage I think it is the EEC module itself and its not starting because the EEC's not signalling injectors etc, its not fuses or fusible links as the pump and EEC use the same power sources.
Can anybody help me out????? I'm at the end of the road. is there any way I can use the diagnostic port with no specialist equipment My next step was going to be to try and find another EEC module and swap it out? |

Hey had same problem with an EF I picked up real cheap from a mate.. Sitting for months in his driveway unstartable so decided to gamble and take it off his hands for spares, turned out to be 10A CRTLP fuse blown (top left in fuse box). His brother n law did a bodgy job fitting a cd player for him, cost me nil to fix as always carry spares in my consol:) A Long shot but worth a check....
