Alternator surged and blew a fusable link and a number of fuses. Replaced link and fuses. still no spark. Replaced dizzy and coil . still no spark. have power going to the coil but nothing from it??????? Have tried two different working coils and the same problem occurs.
Any help much apriciated.

Have you tried hot wiring power straight to the coil to make sure it is getting power when cranking??
If its an old hall effect dizzy and not a late model with the EST computer making it work, there must be a problem with the dizzy and the coil, they are almost as basic as points.
