As the title suggests, will an EL aircon compressor bolt to an AU block if the EL compressor mount is used? If so, will the pully be in line with the other pullies?

BenJ told me that it would, and I've been trying to source one. I've found one and can buy it today, but I was told by the guy at the wreckers that I'd need to make a bracket and it wouldn't line up.

My AU engine has a distributor, so the EL compressor is the only way to go, as the aircon compressor fouls on it because it was designed for use with coil packs.

yes, the el aircon compressor will bolt up to the au block, and will line up fine with the belt..
thats whats in my ed, au engine with ef aicon pump with a dizzy..

you may find that you might have to cut the 2 lower aicon pump mounting spacers a couple of mm...

Thanks Troyman, I looked for your doco, but it had info for the 3 belt set up.

yea the doco is alittle out dated...

You cut the spacers to 30mm if I remember right.
