Hey guys,
I still have my old sub setup from my EF which was 2x12" Xplod subs with said amp.... If i was to put this into my BF XR Ute Cab behind the seats (I tested and it fits in there), would this be too much bass for such a small space? Or would it kick a**!? Its either that or i wire up an 8" Rockford Fosgate Punch sub in there. What are your thoughts... Cheers Alan

You can always adjust the gains right down if it's too bassy.
I would think that the 8's would be a better way to go tho. It'll be slightly tighter than the 12's but still deliver plenty of bass for a ute. As said tho, I'd just wire her up and have a play and make a decision from there.

my brother had one 12 in his hilux and it was too much bass for the space.... however it's a ute, and it's your ute.
wire those suckers up and see if you like it, don't let us tell you what you like!

8" subs and 7x10's won't reproduce low bass adequately. Stick to 10/12/15" and just use some common sense with the bass volume control. If it's too loud, turn the bass down... It's pretty simple
