I've looking at getting a XR6t exhaust on my BF XR6 ute

It's only a standard motor with a CAI and a pod
Still has the standard exhaust on it but the rear muffler is now a sports muffler and had the middle resonator is now a straight bit pipe

Being a young bloke, i like the loudness of it, but it only really sounds good when you have it flat above 4500, other than that it sounds droney. When you give it a squirt in the lower revs it sounds tinny and has an unwanted tinny bark that sounds like theres a nut rattling in the exhaust

Anyway, like i've said i've been looking at xr6t systems, but are they bolt up fit? And would an aftermarket xr6t exhaust fit?

The standard ones are 2.25", but the local exhaust bloke i spoke to said a single 3", or a twin 2.5" would be a bit much for a standard motor?

Ideally I'd like to have an exhaust that is still loud, but has smooth tone about it, instead of a bark or raspy sorta sound

Hope you guys know what i'm trying say, any suggestions or info would be really appreciated

cause their a twin 2.25" (correct me if im wrong on size) their not a bolt up to the cat, however an exhaust show can easily whip up an adapter to go from the single to the twin. as far as im aware they sit on the same hangers as the standard system.

I think the xr6t cat is a single into twin, or something like that?

I have a manual XR6 with a cat back exhaust that is done by I think Red back, nice bit of groan now it has fully settled in and no drone.
The exhaust place I go to told me that the majority of falcons will drone due to the way the engine is built and they were sure to make sure it was a standard and not a turbo as there exhaust needs are very different.
Mine is only a single exhaust but I can't fault it. Love the noise it gives me.
