Hey the ute I am getting on the weekend is a 95 Xg and its been hit or has hit something on the r/h taillight not too long ago. The bloke has punched it back out and replace the tail light but I am wondering if the whole tail section can be removed and replaced? I mean the area where both tail lights are and under the tail gate.... is that attached to the tray or is it all one piece? Also can these be turned into an alloy tray back without too much hastle?

You'll need a lot of time and an engineer in your pocket to turn it into a tray back. Last time I checked all the rear panels wear still available. Each side quarter were available from the start of the tray back. The rear section is also separate

Bummer about the tray back, thought it would look good with flared front guards and extra wide rear alloy arches. Thanks for the info about the quarters, will have a look at the wreckers and see what the cost will be.
