hi guys, just signed up. i have a stock ef futura that i picked up for $400. so far have only replaced factory stereo with Alpine CDA 117E head unit, 6 stack cd player, twin amps and 6 and half inch speakers all round, plus sub in boot, all Alpine. dash has been modified by a mate in Melb, all illumination is blue, switches, temp control and gear shift display, all done properly, not just change of globes. speedo cluster is out of Fairmont. going to change alot over time. going down 2 inches 18x8 wheels, rear spoiler, new exhaust and motor work. any tips would be greatly appreciated. i worked at the Ford factory during the 90's so had a hand in building my own car.

Welcome aboard diamondtooth! These sure can be fun and affordable cars to play with, I'm sure the 6 cyl guys will give you the right direction to go motor-wise.
Cool that you had a hand in building the car too!
