. . . also is it possible to buy the regulator with brushes for this Mistubishi altenator ?

imo the mitsubishi alternator is a better alternator then a bosh or especially a lucus equivilant..

in saying that afaik the only alternators available for ef,s are mitsubishi type...

You should only really need brushes, barring the diodes are all okay.

The bearings are fairly expensive.

You can do it yourself, strip it down, use a rattle gun to undo the front pulley hub nut. replace the brushes, if the bearings feel okay, repack them with HTB grease. Being sealed bearings, you can lift the seals carefully with instrument screwdrivers.

Does the one you have now run and charge okay ???
