just looking for for a scantool that will work on the b series
i have been looking at the ELM327, do these do a good job or not

ELM327 is the name of a chip used in making of a scan tool.

You need to make sure whatever scantool you get supports CAN, as that's the protocol B series use for the ECU/dash etc.

I've got an ELMSCAN5, and a bluetooth OBDKey. Both do the job fine.
