Just picked up an NFII fairlane the other day at a cheap price, Good car mechanically alright but there are a few electrical gremlins that I'm not sure about,
Basically the first is that when breaking or using the indicator the interior lights(Footwell, Dome lights) all flicker on and off.
When using the indicator(indicating to the right) on the dash both indicator lights flash as if the hazards are on.
The door ajar on the left hand front passenger door is always indicated on the dash but i gather that is simply a sensor.

Anyone have ideas regarding what the cause of the above might be? Aside from a couple of electrical issues and a small power steering leak, It's a nice fairlane with 200ks on the odometer.

Most electrical gremlins can be attributed to earthing problems, that's where I would start.
