If you've got skinny litle hands you can do it without removing the battery, but if youre like me and hand big chunky hands then it's just easier to take the battery out

Take the Battery out.....the computers pretty smart. Took mine out on the weekend (Stupid Bolt fell down underneath the battery holder) . Plugged it all back in started the car and left it run for a few mins. All was good after that.

yeah mate - trust me take the battery out!! it give you so much more room to work with and the damn metal clip that holds the bulb in is fiddly so the extra room helps. It willl mostly like reset your ecu so all the fuel average and radio stations/settings will need to be reentered (I managed to keep mine once after removing the battery, every other time i had to re input them).
Take the car for a decent drive though (20 mins at different speeds) so the ecu can learn properly otherwise it will idle like s**t and stall sometimes until it sorts itself out (mine acted up for almost a week because i didnt do this) Cheers Phil
