hi ive got an ef fairmont thats got a squeek that seems to be coming from the drivers side wheel. ive just had new front springs and shocks brake pads and ball joints and the mechanic still cant find the squeek. ive got spacers on but i had the same problem before i put them on. the noise stops if i put the brakes on. does anyone have an idea as to what it might be?

my front end used to squeak wen driving on rough roads, it was the bushes on the front end. you can try spraying them with a bit of wd-40 ive been told that reduces the noise, otherwise they can be replaced. hope this helps

undo the upper control cars amd put some rubber grease on the bushes. good chance they were not lubricated on install enough.
