for some reason i have a rattle that sounds like its coming from the rocker gear....doesnt sound healthy at all.... any ideas??

Timing chain slack, worn timing chain guide, broken rocker arms, springs.
Have you taken the rocker cover off to check it out?

I'm scared to take it off then I no I'm in trouble for sure... But I'll pull it off today after training and I'll check it out

no , the first thing to do if you havent is check the oil... and check it properly.

when was your last service?
what were you doing with the car at the time the rattling started. flooring it? thrashing? etc
how many km's on the clock.
is it a manual or auto?
if manual, might be a loose flywheel, if auto, maybe flex plate?

my car started to rattle badly around the rocker cover. turned out i needed a whole new engine.

i'll keep a lookout for this thread as it progresses.
