hi guys. i am looking at buying a V8 eb falcon. is there anything specific to the V8 cars which i need to check ? aside from wear and tear stuff ?

Off the top of my head?
* I would say that the water pump on a late model stock Windsor is something that can become an issue. Look for leaks / corrosion around it. * The TFI module ( attached to the distributor ) can eventually have their OEM heatsink compound dry out whereupon the module may fail due to over heating. Other than that, the usual stuff should be considered: Fuel filter should be replaced. Leads and plugs should be replaced. MAF electronic module should be cleaned.

add timing cover and intake to that...especially if some d**k head used tap water in it.

so i ended up buying an EB V8 wagon. it needs some panel repairs. it's a fairmont. is it true ford only built 200-odd V8 EB wagons ?
