Hi guys. I've got a XP Deluxe Wagon that I'm restoring. I've got the original motor (170) and auto gearbox (BW3s).
Ive just picked up a reco 170 but the original bell housing is too big. I assume the new motor is a narrow block and the original is a wide block. I assume I need to use one of these adapter plates to be able to bolt the original 3 speed on. Are you able to confirm this for me and where I could get one from?? If you have one for sale let me know how much you want for it.

The new motor is only a short term thing until I get the original 170 rebuilt.
