I have ditchede my old ecu in my ba futura because it wouldnt start when its cold. I purchased another ecu on sunday from a ba xr6. I put it in and left the key on for a few hours with a battery charger connected but it wont start. Is this because its an xr6 computer, One of the six digit numbers on the ecu's match but the other doesnt. Any ideas or what am i doing wrong?

With the ba's I'm pretty sure you have to get ford ar a decent workshop to do a learn with a scantool when you replace the pcm. Give your local dealer a call and talk to the service department.
