Hey,

My sister bought a Ford Focus XR5 Turbo not long ago and i was wondering what easy modifications for power gain can be done.

This is mainly for the people who own one and have done it personally but all ideas welcome.

Cheers

Alan

REALLY?? Are you serious??

I would be confident of beating one in my XR6t and the 8's aren't that much slower are they??

Some very informative replies here...

First a GOOD exhaust as with any forced engine..
Especially turbo engines..
3" with GOOD mufflers..
Separate or hi flow wastegate at dump pipe will make it way more efficient..
With out adding boost...

It's just a Volvo 5cyl motor. Search the volvo forums.

But they are no different to any other turbo engine.
Good exhaust and make sure there are no restrictions on the intake side.

just a thought, what about a defencive driving course? (no pun towards women) my sister has a turbo mazda 323 and she didnt think it was quick. she went on a course and they taught her how the car works and to understand the phisics behind a car and she came out a very compitent driver, and all of a sudden a fast car
