Hey Guys,
This is my first post and I have a question.

I got in my 2005 BF xr6 ute and shut the door started her up and the warning light telling me that my door is open came on and beeped at me. So I checked my doors and they were both shut.

I turned off the engine an restarted it and the same thing happened so now I cant lock my doors at all because they immediately unlock and beep at me.

Anyone know what could be causing it not to register when the doors are closed?

Sounds like one of the door lock mechanisms is stuffed....more than likely the driver's door. I have seen them fail to the point of not even holding the door shut.....that was on a taxi.

All fixed now haha
