hey lads,
been doing some searching for some plastic front bumpers, but Can only find BA pursuit and XR 6 plastic ABS bumpers. Is anyone producing an aftermarket plastic typhoon bumper yet or am I stuck with having to use fibreglass ones from SSV etc? cheers |

ebay? i know they do the fiberglass for $380 or around that, plastic would cost an arm and a leg, find one and get it refurbished for about $600

I agree with Jim89, the cost of a NEW bar is VERY pricey. BA Typhoon F6 is BAT 17750 B $4010.00
And, that is the BAR only, no add on bits at all. |

A few of you lads mention car-mate, seems a few google searches compare these to the likes of the phat customs kits and get some fairly harsh words against them. One thing i've noticed, no matter the place of the fiberglass is sourced from, someones complaining, are these just the perfectionists? I just want it to look alright, im not one that will spend everyday weekend detailing it honestly or entering it into car shows etc. It's going to chipped sooner or later, it'd be unrealistic to expect that. So is the $1900 from SSV really worth it against the car mate/super ones @ 760-1000? |

Spend the money and get the better kit mate, you will thank yourself in the long run when you have a much better looking car. Stay away from Phat customs, their kits fit like s**t and then quality is really bad - heaps of pin holes and other parts you will need to repair and smooth over before paint. I bought mine from them first and then got ssv later, the ssv looks so much better and took 1/4 of the time to kit - check my build thread for some pics. I can't comment on car mate but dlyby1 got his front bar and it seems to be a pretty good fit from the pics he has put up - he has a build thread so check it out as well
cheers phil
