What are my options for modifying my entire intake system on EB 4.o MPEFI?
I haveno idea which later models inlet plenums are compatible with my head,
and I want something easier to work on, with more modification options. Ive seen a few E-series 4.0's with very different setups, some are turbos, but im not going that way yet.
Any suggestions please, or references to a thread or site regarding this?

thanx for any help

you could always go an Iceman plenum without the turbo setup, will get the intake temps way down if nothing else. the BBM setup is very efficient though. Are you trying to reinvent the wheel?

you can fit a ef/el broad band manifold for some minor down low torque improvements, otherwise no real power advantage changing intake manifolds on a std engine

What put my thoughts on this path was whilst planning on replacing the wiring loom for the front sensors, injectors etc. Putting it off cos of the access(or lack thereof) under that damn manifold. Then whilst browsing pics, I saw a variety of plenums/manifolds, although, I assume im quite limited as to which I can fit on the EB.
I got interested in the BBM's, and with the planned 1636 cam, a bit more low end power wont go astray, 'specially being an auto.
So, yeah, at first, it was the positioning of it, I'd prefer a higher access to it, and it looks boring.
I dunno, just throwing ideas around, keeping my mind occupied. :?
And I can be a fussy bastard
