Looking for an adjustable push rod for a clutch, anyone ever heard of such a thing? know where to get one?
The basic problem is that there is just not enought travel in the clutch any more, it probably needs about another inch or something it feels like!

Where does the clutch take up at the top or near the floor

Starts to move about half way, just really spongy and seems as tho theres just not enough travel in it. Anyone know where to buy an adjustable pushrod from for a clutch?

The hydraulic system probably needs bleeding as it shouldn't be spongy and should take up nearer the floor unless the clutch plate is badly worn

you can get an adjustable rod from dellow in sydney, but i would try bleeding your clutch first, they are just gravity bled, open the slave bleeder nipple and keep topping up the fluid up top untill the new fluid starts coming out the slave, remember the clutch line is near the extractors and gets hot, brake fluid boils and goes spongy pretty easily. should be changing the fluid every couple of months. i found when i did the v8 conversion in the corty it was even worse then in a falcon and i had to change the fluid every 6 weeks or so as it kept getting spongy.

Also check if there is supposed to be a spring on slave cylinder? It maybe moving back and every time you apply clutch you have to take up the slack???Loosing some travel....
