What tap size do i need to rethread a damaged spark plug hole in the head alloy.

you do that with the head on the car and u will put shavings into the oil....

how will it go into the oil? should drop into the cylender. then out exhaust at 5k rpm

from memory the thread is 14mm.. and you can tap it on the engine ,although not an ideal way of doing it..
use grease on the tap to catch most of the shavings.. once tapped start the engine without the re tapped plug and any alloy shavings should blow out the plug hole.. better than taking the head off... |
