Ok I know this has been covered a bit but I can't find an exact answer,
One thread said 1/8NPT, then said 1/4NPT, another said 1/4 BSP and 1/8BSP. so much confusion

I'm thinking it's 1/8 NPT. because on a thread this guy brought and oil cooler and it had 1/8 NPT fittings.

It's for my el btw

Also how long do u turbo guys have Ur oil line? On average length.

Just gathering my turbo bits

It took my sender to work and measured it etc and it is 1/4 NPT ,

The pressure sender is under the bbm ( inlet manifold) it looks like a black tube and screws into the block.

Cool thanks. If thats faulty, would that cause the gauge to play up?

when the motor's running, it sits right on high.
When its off its off like normal.
I just got the heater tap and a hose fitted, and noticed this issue right after. Thinking they might've knocked a wire off maybe??

It could be high oil pressure, best way to check is take the sender off and fit a gauge on there.
Or check and clean the terminal on the sender
